Airport Express vs Magenta Line for IGI Airport
Choose Airport Express (IGI Airport station) for the Orange Line airport corridor tied to New Delhi / Dwarka Sector 21. Choose Magenta (Terminal 1–IGI Airport) when your flight or drop-off is Terminal 1–oriented. Interchange logic and fares differ; mixed Airport Express + regular-line journeys may not show a single fare.
Decision rule
If your destination station name in MetroMarg is IGI Airport, you are on Airport Express.
If it is Terminal 1–IGI Airport, you are on Magenta Line.
Mixing the two corridors in one door-to-door story often means a line change elsewhere in the city (for example Hauz Khas for Magenta ↔ Yellow) plus whatever airport landside transfer you still need.
